From the time I was a child, I loved the act of gift-giving. For me, just any old present would not do. I reveled in the beauty of giving something simple, something thoughtful, a small treasure to lift the spirits. These kinds of gifts were my "Happeez" to share.

Pairing my marketing skills with my constant search for the perfect gift, I embarked on a career marketing 3M Post-it® products and then gorgeous stationery lines from Boatman Geller. Through this work I discovered that all notepads and decorative items for the refrigerator, even the most beautiful ones, were backed with magnetic strips--- good for many households but not for those with a stainless steel, glass or wood paneled refrigerators, to which magnets do not stick.

Despite conducting extensive research, I was unable to find any items that could be adhered to these sorts of refrigerators (now popular and common choices) without leaving some form of tacky residue or scratching. It was out of this search that Mayfair Lane™, Happeez® and Pretty Pleez™ were born. Happeez are wonderful, simple gifts that utilize a material which can stick effectively and harmlessly to stainless steel, mirrors, glass and any other non-porous surface. Pretty Pleez are stylish, yet functional products that add a splash of fun and excitement into everday life.

The first round of products launched in the Winter of 2008, and include Happeez Notepads, Clips and Photo frames. These patent-pending products include a Happeez material, that grips to stainless steel and other slick surfaces such as glass, mirror, aluminum, plastic or vinyl. Unlike a magnet, Happeez products protect surfaces from scratching and marring, and will not leave a residue.
